Volkswagen Group Info Services AG is extending its fleet data network with a new partnership. The Finish Fleet Data Provider Way Data Technologies is now integrating original OEM data of six Volkswagen Group brands. Way Data supports the new Kafka-based fleet data interface, which enables seamless and secure real-time streaming of vehicle data, ideal for f.e. charging data.
For Way, the cooperation expands access to native vehicle connectivity across Europe, providing high-quality operational insights without the need for retrofit hardware. Fleet managers benefit from reliable data on vehicle status, energy use, charging behavior, and emissions performance, all delivered through a seamless, secure interface designed for modern fleet applications.
“We’re pleased to integrate with Volkswagen Information Services. Their fleet data interface makes connected vehicle data more accessible and reliable for fleets, and helps us support more efficient and sustainable operations,” said Way CEO Juho Hyytiäinen.
The collaboration covers Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Škoda, SEAT, CUPRA, and Audi, and strengthens Volkswagen Group Info Services AG’s growing network of partners enabling smarter, more sustainable fleet operations across Europe.
